Chef Myker Hang’s story is one of resilience, passion, and the transformative power of food. Born into a half Hmong and half Laotian family, she fled the turmoil of the Vietnam War and found refuge in a camp in Thailand. It was in this camp that Myker discovered the rich and diverse flavors of Thai cuisine.

This experience ignited her passion for cooking and inspired her to bring these authentic flavors to the world, infused with her unique twist.

Today, she is the heart and soul of Mama’s Thai Cafe, where she crafts each dish with love, blending traditional Thai ingredients with her own innovative flair.
